Frederick Richardson
(1862 - 1937)
Born in Chicago, Illinois, Frederick Richardson studied in St. Louis and Paris. He began as a newspaper artist in Chicago where he documented the World’s Columbian Exhibition of 1892-3. Moving to New York he worked for magazines and published many book illustrations, often in the Art Nouveau style.
