Aldren A. Watson

Both his parents were artists and Aldren A. Watson followed in their footsteps. He illustrated over one hundred books for children. His father was, among other things, co-founder of Watson Guptil Publications. He is best-known for his distinguished career as book illustrator, with a total output of over 175 books for children and adults.

Henry’s Dog Henry (1965)
Henry names his new dog Henry, with consequences you can easily imagine. This story was first published in Story Parade magazine June 1954 with pictures by Feodor Rojankovsky.
