Fred Rogers
(1928 - 2003)
Fred McFeely Rogers was born and raised in Latrobe, Pennsylvania and attended Dartmouth College before transferring to Rollins College where he earned a degree in music composition. He was ordained a minister of the Presbyterian Church. In 1954 he began a television show that evolved into Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood.
