Waldemar Bonsels
(1880 - 1952)
Waldemar Bonsels was born near Hamburg in 1880 or 1881. As a child, he cared little for his studies, preferring instead to be outdoors. Finally, he took up the life of a vagabond. He traveled to Asia and to Egypt.
