Clifford Webb
(1895 - 1972)
Clifford Webb was an English artist, illustrator and author. He apprenticed as a lithographer, then studied at the Westminster School of Art. He specialized in animal drawings, and also produced the illustrations for the first two books of the Swallows and Amazons series by Arthur Ransome. He wrote and illustrated children’s books.
