Roger Lea MacBride
(1929 - 1995)
A Harvard Law graduate, Roger Lea MacBride was a long-time protege of Rose Wilder Lane who made him her heir and literary executor. He was the first presidential candidate of the Libertarian Party in 1976. He was notorious as a faithless elector for Richard Nixon, casting his vote for the Libertarian slate in 1972.
