Randall Jarrell
(1914 - 1965)
Randall Jarrell was an American poet, literary critic, children’s author, essayist, and novelist. He wrote several children’s books, among which “The Animal Family” (1965) is considered prominent (and features illustrations by Maurice Sendak).
