Nancy Dingman “Dingy” Watson attended Wheaton College, and earned a bachelor of arts degree from Smith College in 1965. She was the author of more than 25 novels, poetry books and picture books for children, including “Blueberries Lavender,” When is Tomorrow, and Tommy’s Mommy’s Fish.
