J. W. Dunne
(John William Dunne)
(1875 - 1949)
John William Dunne was the son of an Anglo-Irish general in the British army. After serving as an enlisted man in the second Boer war, he spent several years as an aeronautical engineer working on swept wing designs. In later life he wrote on fly fishing and developed a philosophy of time.
